OwnerPing is committed to preserving the privacy and protection of all diagnostic logs, connection endpoints, and registration structures handled by our automation workflows. This policy outlines how we collect, store, route, and safeguard information when you configure and interact with our tools.

OwnerPing is operated by Mehdi Haloua, based in Morocco. This privacy policy applies to the OwnerPing website, agency workspace accounts, iCal synchronized reservation databases, email dispatch handlers, subscription payments, and general technical support conversations.

2. Our role and your agency’s role

Understanding the roles of information controllership is essential to executing compliant tenant notifications:

• Data Controller: OwnerPing acts as a data controller for agency account registration data, web logins, billing records, service administration logs, security metrics, and support emails exchanged with developers.
• Data Processor: A rental agency normally determines why property-owner information and listing schedules are entered into OwnerPing. For property details, owner email coordinates, private WhatsApp configurations, calendar sources, and reservation records processed entirely on the agency's instructions, the agency is the controller and OwnerPing acts as its service provider or processor.
• Agency Obligations: Agencies are solely responsible for securing an appropriate legal basis to process property-owner details, exporting their calendars, and providing any required notifications or disclosures to their connected property owners and guests.

We process information solely to deliver robust calendar automation features:

• Securing, configuring, and verifying agency logins
• Synchronizing exported iCal reservation feeds under standard intervals
• Detecting booking status changes and cancellation events
• Sending transactional email and WhatsApp notifications on your behalf
• Compiling performance and delivery diagnostic logs in the dashboard area
• Verifying subscription statuses and payment proofs
• Preventing system abuse, security breaches, and illicit account operations
• Providing technical guidance and answering support questions

OwnerPing does not sell personal data to advertisers.

5. Legal Bases

Depending on the context of the operational activity and the location of your agency, processing may rely on:

• Performance of the Service: Provisioning your agency workspace and maintaining synchronization feeds.
• Legitimate Interests: Operating a secure, stable status notifier and defending the tool from malicious traffic.
• Compliance with Legal Obligations: Accounting logs, tax criteria, and transactional history retention.
• Controller Directives: Processor activities executed entirely according to the configurations, iCal feeds, and contact lists entered by the agency.

Because OwnerPing is operated from Morocco, information is routed across regional server borders:

• Our subprocessors process metadata, logins, emails, and WhatsApp messages internationally, which may include routes within the United States, the European Economic Area (EEA), or other operations centers.
• Agencies serving EU and EEA residents should be aware that processing may result in transfers outside the EEA.
• Morocco does not hold an EU adequacy decision. Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) are used as safeguards, and agencies may request further information by contacting our privacy email support coordinate.

8. Data Retention Criteria

We retain information based on these operational guidelines:

• Agency Accounts: Active profile metrics are kept as long as the account status is active and verified, or for a reasonable period to resolve subsequent support queries.
• Property Calendar Logs: Retained in alignment with the agency's usage inside their secure dashboard boundaries.
• Payment Histories: Saved in accordance with tax laws and Moroccan bookkeeping regulations.
• Backups: Redundant server images are recycled periodically under clean rotation rules.

9. Security Measures

We apply professional, standard safeguards to guard agency parameters:

• HTTPS/TLS transport layer encryption on all page actions
• Google Firebase security rules protecting database writes client-side
• Secure sandboxed server functions holding all Resend and Twilio API credentials securely
• Least-privilege administrative access controls
• Periodic system configuration reviews

* Note that no system transmit method across internet backbones can guarantee 100% absolute safety against coordinated threats.

10. User and Data-Subject Rights

Depending on the legal framework governing your operations, users or owner contacts may request:

• Access, corrections, or Deletion of profile records
• Processing restrictions or objections to forwarding rules
• Data portability configurations where supported
• Withdrawal of consents
• Moroccan Law 09-08 protection rights where applicable

All requests must be directed to support@ownerping.com. We may verify identity before fulfilling requests to protect accounts against social engineering. Where data is controlled by an agency, queries will be referred back to that agency controller for swift resolution.

11. Cookies and Local Storage

We use only essential browser storage and authentication tokens to keep your agency logged in securely. We do not currently inject advertising, targeting, tracker pixels, or profiling cookies on our public screens.
